About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at LJB Engineering will play a crucial role in the recruitment process, working closely with the HR team and hiring managers to attract and select top-tier talent. This position involves reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate records, all while ensuring a positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the basic qualifications for open positions.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' suitability for further consideration.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Communicate interview details and gather feedback from interviewers.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, provide updates on application status, and deliver rejection notifications professionally and courteously.
  • Utilize HRIS to track candidate progress, maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, and generate reports on recruitment metrics as needed.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Utilize online job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and other recruitment channels.
  • Occasionally travel to attend networking and career fairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of recruiting experience required.
  • Strong experience sourcing candidates required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in candidate records and correspondence.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS/ATS.
