About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Tech24 is responsible for building partnerships with Operations leadership to effectively source, assess, and close candidates for various positions. This role emphasizes delivering an exceptional candidate experience and attracting technical talent to the organization. The position is primarily office-based with the possibility of one flexible workday, and it requires a proactive approach to recruitment and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Define current and future hiring needs, refine job descriptions, and minimum qualifications.
  • Source candidates through databases and social media, implementing assessment tools, and conducting interviews.
  • Serve as an expert with the Company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Forge dynamic relationships with colleagues to understand the company's mission, values, and roles.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture.
  • Attract suitable candidates through various channels including postings, databases, and local events.
  • Promote the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Source passive applicants using practical and creative methods.
  • Assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience for open positions.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to sourcing and recruitment for long-term growth.
  • Create and generate offer letters for successful candidates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely applicant tracking for metrics and compliance with OFCCP documentation.
  • Order, track, and report on candidate background checks and assessments.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated curiosity to craft innovative approaches to engage passive candidates.
  • Experience supporting multiple managers across a regional territory is preferred.
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Proficient knowledge in ATS (ADP) and employment search engines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with skills in metrics and analytics.
  • Experience with ADP's Workforce Now is preferred.
  • Understanding of Recruiting Compliance and a focus on positive candidate experience.
  • Closing/sales mindset from application to hire.
  • Proficiency in social media for recruitment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Service industry experience is highly preferred.
