About the position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Compass Group, you will play a crucial role in our hospitality business by attracting, screening, interviewing, and hiring both salaried and frontline/hourly talent. Your responsibilities will include submitting job requisitions, reviewing applications, and conducting interviews to ensure we find the best candidates for our diverse range of positions. You will be instrumental in planning and executing recruitment and selection processes, which encompass interviews, screening calls, and other related activities. A key focus of your role will be to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, which is essential for maintaining our reputation as a leading employer in the foodservice and support services industry. In addition to direct recruitment activities, you will organize and attend career fairs and other recruiting events to promote our job openings and establish local partnerships that can help attract talent. You will also be responsible for preparing and processing all necessary hiring paperwork, including job offers and electronic onboarding documents, in a timely manner. Ensuring successful new hire onboarding, including the issuance of badges, will be part of your duties. As a subject matter expert on our online recruiting and hiring system, SuccessFactors (PeopleHub), you will leverage this tool to streamline our hiring processes and improve efficiency. Other duties may be assigned as needed, reflecting the dynamic nature of the role and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Submits job requisitions, reviews applications, and interviews applicants.
  • Plans and conducts recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.).
  • Takes steps to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Organizes and attends career fairs or other recruiting events.
  • Establishes local partnerships to promote job openings.
  • Prepares and processes all necessary hiring paperwork, including offers and electronic onboarding paperwork, in a timely manner.
  • Ensures successful new hire onboarding, including badging.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on our online recruiting and hiring system - SuccessFactors (PeopleHub).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Three to five years experience with staffing high-volume hospitality settings.
  • Thorough knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employment branding.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and databases.
  • Ability to work independently and analyze data to solve complex problems.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
