About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle of recruitment for Redwood Family Care Network, focusing on sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for various positions. This role ensures compliance with hiring processes and maintains communication with new hires to facilitate a smooth transition into the organization. The specialist will also track onboarding documentation and collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure compliance with training and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Post job openings on various platforms and utilize social media for recruitment.
• Conduct reference checks and ensure all pre-employment requirements are met.
• Track and manage onboarding documents and compliance requirements for new hires.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to support the onboarding process and ensure new hires have necessary resources.
• Monitor and follow up with new hires during their first four months to ensure a successful transition.
• Prepare candidate briefs for qualified candidates and report on key metrics related to recruitment efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in human resources and recruiting/sourcing, preferably in home care.
• AA Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• Valid California ID or Driver's License required.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including background checks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with social media recruiting and job board postings.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and maintain confidentiality.
