This position is responsible for attending various career and hiring events, as well as assisting with all talent acquisition efforts to fill pipelines for hourly positions. The Specialist will work closely with hiring managers to support recruitment initiatives, ensuring that the company attracts and retains a diverse and capable workforce. This role is a hybrid position, combining remote work with fieldwork, allowing for flexibility while still engaging directly with potential candidates. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support leadership in achieving recruiting targets by partnering with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Managers. They will participate in career and recruitment events, including job fairs and conferences, to promote a healthy and diverse talent pool. The Specialist will be responsible for attracting applicants through job advertisements and outreach efforts, establishing and managing a sustainable talent pipeline for critical operations roles within Towne Park. The Specialist will also provide consistent recruitment services that elevate capability and drive accountability for workforce planning. This includes maintaining open communication with talent engagement managers and district managers to assess current and forecasted staffing needs. The role requires the use of an applicant tracking system (Workday) to post open positions and effectively utilize company resources throughout the recruitment process. Building and maintaining relationships with recruitment sources, such as agencies and college career offices, is essential for ensuring a steady flow of talent. Responsibilities

  • Support leadership with the overall talent acquisition efforts to ensure recruiting targets are achieved.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Managers to assist with recruitment efforts.
  • Participate in career and recruitment events including job fairs, conferences, and other hiring events as needed.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements and other outreach via print and online media.
  • Establish and manage a sustainable talent pipeline for critical operations roles for Towne Park.
  • Provide consistent delivery of recruitment services that elevates capability and drives accountability for workforce planning.
  • Maintain open communications with talent engagement managers, account managers, and district managers to determine current and forecasted district staffing needs.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system (Workday) to post open positions both internally and externally.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment sources including recruitment/temp agencies and career websites.
  • Conduct staffing calls with operations management as needed to ensure proper communication about staffing targets.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or a business-related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of administrative, recruiting, or high-volume staffing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of various recruitment technology platforms and applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and HRIS applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality related to candidate and client information.
