About the position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Sentry, you will play a crucial role in recruiting for college programs and entry-level talent. This position involves managing the full recruitment cycle, building relationships with candidates and external organizations, and developing strategies to attract top talent. You will work closely with various business areas to ensure effective recruitment processes and maintain engagement with candidates throughout their journey.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including workforce planning, intake meetings, screening, and presenting candidates.
  • Coordinate and arrange networking and partnership events to build engagement with external organizations.
  • Collaborate with business areas to establish recruiting strategies for current and upcoming positions.
  • Leverage various sourcing tools, social media, online databases, and employee referrals to build candidate pipelines.
  • Keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with campuses and organizations.
  • Support the hiring team in determining qualified candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, verifying references, and performing background checks.
  • Support emerging talent programs through developing, planning, and executing events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Communications preferred.
  • 2 - 5 years of Human Resources/recruiting experience.
  • Experience with Handshake preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of fair employment practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Technologically savvy.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with high levels of ethics and integrity.
