About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist - Corporate is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies, ensuring our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline for all corporate level and upper-field leadership positions. This role is pivotal in executing a full-cycle recruitment process, collaborating with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate hiring criteria, and identifying and implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. The specialist will assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes through thorough screening processes, acting as a point of contact and building influential candidate relationships during the selection process. Additionally, the role involves assisting with job posting and advertisement processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and attending local job fairs and virtual recruiting sessions as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes through thorough screening processes.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in local job fairs and virtual recruiting sessions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand human resources and applicant tracking software systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with digital sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three (3) years' human resources-industry experience preferred, with at least one (1) year in recruiting.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the principal job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess auditory and visual acuity.
  • Position is mainly sedentary work (office work) in front of a computer.
