The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TA Specialist) at Harbor Freight Tools plays a crucial role in sourcing and recruiting top candidates for open positions. The TA Specialist is responsible for various recruiting projects and initiatives that contribute to the organization's growth, acting as a brand ambassador for both candidates and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recruiting administration and coordination support to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Develop sourcing and networking strategies for hiring managers.
  • Open and post new requisitions on company and external job boards.
  • Schedule interviews with internal teams and candidates.
  • Greet and escort incoming candidates for interviews.
  • Process and review background checks, employment authorization, and offer letters.
  • Maintain daily and weekly reports on recruitment activities.
  • Provide phone and email support to prospective associates and hiring managers.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Deliver consistent results of TA processes, policies, and procedures while maintaining accurate records.
  • Promote Harbor Freight Tools as the employer of choice by sharing information about company culture, benefits, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience performing office administrative duties, with at least 1 year in recruiting or human resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with job postings, social media, applicant tracking systems, and other recruiting tools.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and a self-starter.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a track record of collaboration and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills.
