About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment needs of the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical sectors. This position focuses on managing a high volume of requisitions and identifying skilled trades professionals to meet operational demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume recruiting within the skilled trades industry, demonstrating the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for multiple openings in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical positions.
• Utilize various sourcing methods to identify qualified candidates for skilled trades positions.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified trades professionals.
• Conduct initial screenings and in-depth interviews to assess candidates' skills and fit.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand specific role requirements.
• Schedule interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience with clear communication and timely feedback.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or similar skilled trades.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of recruiting in the skilled trades, including industry-specific certifications and qualifications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience recruiting for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical positions.
• Knowledge of industry certifications such as EPA 608, Journeyman, and Master Technician.
• Strong understanding of labor market trends in the skilled trades.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
