About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Arrow Senior Living is responsible for assisting hiring managers in finding the best talent for open positions while ensuring compliance throughout the hiring process. This role serves as the first point of contact for potential employees and plays a crucial part in achieving business goals by attracting suitable candidates. The specialist will manage the recruitment process, maintain candidate pipelines, and ensure a positive candidate experience across multiple communities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all frontline recruitment at the community level for over 40 openings.
  • Manage the recruitment process for candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates primarily by phone, coordinate interviews, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Understand vacant positions and their requirements to hire the right candidates based on objective measures.
  • Advocate for candidates by seeking objective reasons for hiring decisions made by interviewers.
  • Create trusting relationships with hiring managers through one-on-one meetings.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
  • Manage and track candidate activity and open positions using the Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite).
  • Fill vacancies in a timely manner and assist with recruitment start-up for new developments or acquisitions.
  • Travel to communities for external/internal recruitment efforts when possible.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations during the hiring process.
  • Implement approved recruitment strategies and track the effectiveness of recruitment sources and activities.
  • Assist hiring managers in communicating employment information during offer delivery.
  • Create offer letters within 24 business hours of candidate acceptance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and interruptions.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's/Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of recruitment experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in multi-site recruiting or related experience.
  • Knowledge of interviewing methods and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Calendar, and Sheets.
  • Demonstrates professionalism both internally and externally.
  • Compassionate towards the elderly.
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting environments.
  • Ability to travel 20 percent of the time.
