Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with an Environmental Service provider to recruit and hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the Milwaukee, WI area. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the entire hiring process from start to finish. This includes sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience to attract and retain top talent. The role also requires visiting field sites to understand the specific staffing needs and challenges faced by field teams, which is essential for effective recruitment. Additionally, the specialist will need to ensure the accuracy of candidate data, recruitment metrics, and job postings while staying informed about industry trends and competitive practices. Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit top talent for field positions: equipment operators, field crew, landscaping staff, etc.
  • Source candidates, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process from start to finish.
  • Visit field sites to understand specific staffing needs and challenges of field teams.
  • Ensure accuracy of candidate data, recruitment metrics, and job postings.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience to attract and retain top talent.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting for skilled and field positions
  • Understanding of construction, environmental, or renewable industries is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and exhibit strong time management skills.
