About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at The Imagine Group will play a crucial role in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent across various disciplines. This hybrid position requires collaboration with department heads and the talent acquisition team to manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience and effective hiring processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of recruiting candidates from sourcing through on-site interviewing, negotiating offers, and closing candidates.
  • Educate and guide hiring managers through the hiring process.
  • Design and execute customized candidate recruiting plans, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify the right talent.
  • Track the status of candidates in HRIS and maintain the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all information.
  • Coordinate and run all candidate pre-hire tasks including background checks, pre-hire paperwork, scheduling task lists, etc.
  • Own the candidate experience ensuring a positive experience across all stages of the recruiting process.
  • Prepare and schedule interviews for hiring managers and executives.
  • Gauge the potential chemistry of candidates for fit and motivation rather than selling a position.
  • Find and engage unique and/or passive candidates through creative and innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Participate in special projects and talent acquisition initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3 years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience.
  • 2 years of experience recruiting commissioned sales persons preferably in the commercial print industry.
  • 2 years' experience using industry-standard Applicant Tracking Systems (ICIMS strongly preferred), web-based sourcing tools and technologies, and a solid understanding of talent acquisition best practices and processes.
  • 1 year's experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience executing a recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, referral management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
  • A passion for Talent Acquisition and a history of delivering results.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects in an agile environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Skills to be a resourceful self-starter with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • A desire to work and support a diverse and inclusive environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Recruiting in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Visual Communications Industry.
