About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist II at Bluegreen Vacations is responsible for providing consultative guidance and support for high-volume recruiting operations. This role involves screening and interviewing candidates, managing the new hire process, and collaborating with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs. The specialist will also track recruiting metrics and assist in event planning for recruitment activities, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent to support its growth.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and interview candidates for various positions.
  • Collect pre-employment requirements and facilitate the new hire process.
  • Communicate updates related to Talent Acquisition activities to hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Build strong partnerships with department leaders to fulfill staffing plans.
  • Coach hiring managers on best practices for recruiting and retention.
  • Assist in tracking recruiting metrics and conducting turnover analyses.
  • Prepare offer letters and assist with event planning for recruitment activities.
  • Open job requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and post job announcements.
  • Coordinate logistics for on and off-site hiring events.
  • Follow up with candidates regarding interview scheduling and application status.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Ensure interview notes are collected and prepared for all candidates.
  • Assist with processing new hire background checks and drug screens as needed.
  • Promote the employee referral program and establish relationships with educational institutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in a recruitment function.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is essential.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with candidates and associates at all levels.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in high-volume recruitment environments.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and procedures related to recruitment and employment.
