About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist III at Boston Scientific plays a crucial role in supporting the sourcing, pipelining, market analytics, and campaign activities for the commercial sales organization. This position requires a consultative approach and creative thinking to develop a robust and diverse recruitment strategy in partnership with key internal stakeholders, including hiring leaders, HR Business Partners, and functional Centers of Excellence (COEs). The specialist will work closely with various sales leaders across multiple business units, influencing hiring managers on best practices and strategies for recruitment. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the sales recruiting team, developing, executing, and tracking sourcing strategies for both passive and active candidates. Utilizing a variety of tools such as Success Factors, 8fold, Seekout, and LinkedIn Recruiter, you will foster relationships with potential candidates and large-scale talent pools to meet immediate hiring needs while also planning for long-term recruitment strategies. You will also represent talent acquisition in various projects and initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement and making recommendations to enhance the talent acquisition processes, policies, and strategies. The position involves full cycle management of requisitions as needed, contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards in the recruitment process. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that Boston Scientific attracts and retains top talent, ultimately supporting the company's mission to advance science for life and improve patient health.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the sales recruiting team to develop, execute, and track sourcing strategies for passive and active candidates.
  • Foster and cultivate relationships with key potential candidates and large-scale talent pools to meet immediate and long-term hiring needs.
  • Represent talent acquisition and serve as project manager on identified projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and make recommendations to enhance talent acquisition processes, policies, and strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards in recruitment.
  • Manage the full cycle of requisitions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years' experience in Talent Acquisition OR Master's degree and 2 years' experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Ability to work in a matrix-centric environment.
  • Prior experience building talent pools and marketing campaigns in a Talent Acquisition CRM, such as 8fold.
  • Experience with Seekout, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar tools for sourcing and engaging passive talent.
  • Ability to learn multiple areas of the business and influence processes quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver hiring plans and metrics to senior business unit leaders.
  • Experience with OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs).
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple competing priorities/projects in a fast-paced environment.
