About the position

The Recruiter plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources division and various restaurants with their recruitment needs. This position involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their specific requirements and qualifications for open roles, as well as assisting in posting job openings on suitable platforms. You will manage the entire recruitment process, successfully sourcing, attracting, and hiring outstanding talent. This position requires onsite presence from Monday to Friday. In this role, you will oversee the complete recruitment cycle for open positions, from job advertisement to offer stages. You will collaborate with departmental leaders and the recruiting team to meet staffing goals, identify and attract qualified candidates, conduct interviews, and maintain a robust pipeline of potential hires. You will recruit for all assigned positions and ensure timely communication of actions and next steps with the team and hiring managers. Utilizing online recruiting resources and internal ATS to find the best candidates will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also draft and update job descriptions, gaining a clear understanding of job responsibilities and business needs. Providing an outstanding recruitment experience for candidates, managing the full lifecycle of recruiting, screening resumes and applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting thorough candidate assessments will be essential. Additionally, you will prepare candidates for interviews by providing comprehensive information about the company and position expectations. Building and maintaining a network of contacts to assist in sourcing qualified candidates is also part of your role. You will ensure consistent communication and follow-ups with all candidates, leaders, and external recruiters, effectively utilize the ATS system, maintain accurate records, and generate reports as necessary, ensuring thorough audits. Staying informed about recruitment laws and trends, providing recommendations as needed, and handling administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality of all candidate and personnel information are also critical aspects of this position. You will act ethically to uphold the company's reputation and perform additional duties as required by the business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of comprehensive recruiting experience in a high-volume, fast-paced food and beverage environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring for both hourly and salaried positions within the hospitality sector or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions while meeting hiring expectations.
  • Experience with HRIS software and navigating ATS systems.
  • Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to achieving success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong judgment of character, high emotional intelligence, and a welcoming demeanor.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining composure.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English is required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
