About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at American Structurepoint is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, collaborating with management to effectively recruit, screen, and recommend high-performing candidates for various positions within the organization. This role also involves assisting the HR team with related projects and ensuring compliance with hiring regulations. The position is based onsite in Indianapolis, Indiana, and emphasizes a commitment to excellence, respect, integrity, innovation, and social responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates, administer assessments, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt staff openings.
  • Manage the internal candidate interview process.
  • Communicate and coordinate with employment agencies and outside vendors as needed.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure timely feedback during the interview process.
  • Clarify important employment information during the delivery of offers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist with employee referral processes and website inquiries.
  • Attend career fairs and assist with college networking events.
  • Submit payroll information for new hires to internal parties.
  • Report and track hire information in spreadsheets/systems.
  • Assist with general HR questions/issues from staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Marketing/Public Relations, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of recruiting experience; experience in a STEM environment is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Effective multi-tasking and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
