About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. This person is the face of Your-Policy and ensures candidates enjoy a great experience and see our core values in action. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source and screen candidates for all of Your-Policy, across functional areas and levels.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies current and future hiring needs
  • Manages the recruitment process for a high volume of requisitions while ensuring culture fit and potential for long-term success
  • Collaborates with department managers to compile requirements and preferences for success
  • Administers job postings across different job platforms
  • Attracts suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, job fairs and networking events, etc.
  • Pre-qualifies applicants; conducts and coordinates interviews, and assesses applicants' knowledge, skills and experience to best suit open positions
  • Coordinates interviews on site and remotely with interviewers and potential candidates

Requirements

  • 5+ years' successful demonstrated/documented and progressive internal/external recruiting experience
  • Previous experience supporting multiple lines and levels of business
  • Experience with recruitment processes and databases
  • Working knowledge of employment laws related to recruiting
  • Previous insurance experience preferred but not required

Nice-to-haves
