About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Nordex USA, Inc. is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent. This role involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and overseeing the Applicant Tracking System, with a focus on creating talent pipelines to meet current and future staffing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates full cycle recruiting process to meet staffing goals across all organizational levels.
  • Works with hiring managers to define position requirements and gather information regarding the environment and culture.
  • Creates and implements employment marketing strategies to attract job seekers.
  • Creates job requisitions and internal and external job postings.
  • Develops a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need and maintains a pipeline of candidates.
  • Builds a network to find qualified passive candidates and attends career fairs.
  • Maintains relationships with employment agencies and other sources to attract talent.
  • Manages the development of creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  • Determines and evaluates applicant qualifications through interviews and reference checks.
  • Administers Personality Assessments for qualified candidates.
  • Follows all employment laws consistently and appropriately.
  • Conducts preliminary interviews to gauge interest and fit.
  • Provides feedback to hiring managers about applications.
  • Arranges interviews for qualified candidates and coordinates schedules.
  • Coordinates offers of employment with the Manager and People and Culture.
  • Conducts reference checks and initiates pre-employment screening.
  • Coordinates on-boarding and off-boarding activities.
  • Coordinates relocation efforts for new hires.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Develops weekly recruitment activity reports for management.
  • Achieves financial objectives by managing recruiting expenditures.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources management or similar is strongly preferred.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Human Resources certification is strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in talent recruitment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and address sensitive situations.
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting and full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources practices and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and handle different challenges.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.
  • High level of computer literacy with analytical tools.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve.
  • Experience in developing talent pipelines and sourcing candidates.
  • Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company to potential hires.
  • Understanding of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is preferred.
  • Experience in developing recruiting marketing and branding strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems like SuccessFactors and Paychex.
  • A valid Driver's license is required for 15% of company travel.
