About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join the Human Resources team at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport, focusing on the recruitment process by creating offer letters, assisting with the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and collaborating with hiring managers. This on-site role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Draft and issue offer letters for all types of employment, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
• Serve as a backup for the ATS, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of the system.
• Assist in creating and posting job advertisements on various platforms, including the ATS and external job boards.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and facilitate the recruitment process.
• Participate in talent acquisition activities, including screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
• Perform additional HR-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager or CHRO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ATS software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources is a plus.
