About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing full life cycle recruiting activities and managing the candidate experience for several subsidiary renewable construction businesses. This role involves creating and managing job requisitions, interviewing candidates, and negotiating job offers, while partnering with the HR Coordinator to ensure a seamless recruitment experience. The position is based in Fargo, ND, and supports companies across the United States, requiring the ability to work within standard business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent.
  • Guide and coach managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood.
  • Evaluate hiring and interview processes and techniques, identifying training opportunities where applicable.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their business and recruitment needs.
  • Manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing qualifications to negotiating offers.
  • Utilize and maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation in the applicant tracking system.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Participate in staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects.
  • Assist in meeting affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity recruitment goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in construction, energy, or blue collar related recruiting.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for career fairs and other recruiting efforts.
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills.
  • Experience with iCIMS, UKG, and/or Service Now is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate with a high sense of urgency.
  • Intermediate sourcing, interviewing, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
