About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for coordinating and facilitating all phases of the recruitment process. This part-time role involves collaborating with department managers to identify hiring needs, implementing effective recruiting strategies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The specialist will also assist candidates through the pre-employment process and present benefit packages to applicants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and facilitates all phases of the recruitment process
• Collaborates with department managers to identify hiring needs
• Communicates regularly with managers regarding the status of open positions
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies
• Posts positions and assists with advertisement processes
• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates to forward to hiring manager
• Schedules interviews
• Coordinates with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process
• Conducts reference and background checks as per company policy
• Assists candidates with navigating all pre-employment requirements
• Communicates and updates candidates on all updates during the pre-employment process
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
• Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
• Tracks and reports KPIs including time-to-fill and vacancy rate
• Presents benefit package and information to applicants

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
• Managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred
• Experience with HRIS recruiting systems required
• UKG recruiting experience preferred
