About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the recruitment process for the organization, ensuring that all phases of hiring are coordinated effectively. This role involves collaboration with department managers to identify hiring needs, implementing efficient recruiting strategies, and facilitating communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and facilitates all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify hiring needs and communicates regularly with managers regarding the status of open positions.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Posts positions and assists with advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates to forward to hiring manager.
  • Schedules interviews and coordinates with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Conducts reference and background checks, as per company policy.
  • Assists candidates with navigating all pre-employment requirements.
  • Communicates and updates candidates on all updates during the pre-employment process.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Tracks and reports KPI's including time-to-fill and vacancy rate.
  • Presents benefit package and information to applicants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS recruiting systems required, UKG recruiting experience preferred.
