About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist/RBT Trainer at The Perfect Child is responsible for overseeing the hiring and training processes within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that the clinic operates smoothly and effectively, providing necessary training to new staff members, particularly Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). The position involves collaboration with various departments and focuses on developing training procedures to enhance the skills of incoming staff, ultimately contributing to the quality of care provided to families with autistic children.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolutions.
  • Review resumes of new potential employees.
  • Conduct interviews for potential new employees.
  • Coordinate training for new employees and ensure that they are properly onboarded before training begins.
  • Work closely with clinical staff to develop effective training for new Behavior Technicians/aspiring RBTs.
  • Take a lead role in training incoming Behavior Technicians.
  • Communicate employment information to new employees and assist with any onboarding related queries.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with HR assistant to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure a pleasant onboarding and training experience.
  • Greet employees and visitors once they enter the facility.

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Behavior Technician
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, ABA or related field
  • Knowledge of basic regulations and practices within an office/clinic setting
  • Passion for educating others and helping others advance in their careers
  • Great at public speaking and being able to answer questions with ease
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, Acrobat, Google Suite)
  • Exceptional time management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to adjust plans in short notice as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
