About the position

The Perfect Child is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Trainer to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This full-time position is based in Orlando, FL, and is designed for individuals who are eager to advance their careers while gaining valuable experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our company is committed to helping families with autistic children receive the therapy their child needs to lead a more dynamic and fulfilling life. In this role, you will oversee the hiring and training processes within our San Jose training center/clinic, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including hiring and onboarding new employees, developing and implementing training procedures, and ensuring that the clinic is well-equipped to provide training and services to incoming staff. You will collaborate closely with the HR Assistant and various departments to facilitate effective operations within the clinic. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist/RBT Trainer, you will act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolutions. You will review resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate training for new employees, ensuring they are properly onboarded before training begins. Additionally, you will take a lead role in training incoming Behavior Technicians and communicate essential employment information to new hires. Your expertise will also be utilized in providing guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring a pleasant onboarding and training experience for all staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolutions.
  • Review resumes of new potential employees.
  • Conduct interviews for potential new employees.
  • Coordinate training for new employees and ensure that they are properly onboarded before training begins.
  • Work closely with clinical staff to develop effective training for new Behavior Technicians/aspiring RBTs.
  • Take a lead role in training incoming Behavior Technicians.
  • Communicate employment information to new employees and assist with any onboarding related queries.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with HR assistant to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure a pleasant onboarding and training experience.
  • Greet employees and visitors once they enter the facility.

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Behavior Technician
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, ABA or related field
  • Knowledge of basic regulations and practices within an office/clinic setting
  • Passion for educating others and helping others advance in their careers
  • Great at public speaking and being able to answer questions with ease
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, Acrobat, Google Suite)
  • Exceptional time management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to adjust plans in short notice as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
