About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full cycle strategic recruiting to implement and manage effective, results-driven sourcing and recruiting that meets company objectives. This role is pivotal in collaborating on workforce planning, developing sourcing strategies, building recruiting plans, and ensuring the pre-qualification and presentation of top candidates to hiring managers. The specialist will also lead and facilitate post-interview calibration processes and develop and negotiate offers with candidates. In this position, the specialist will develop proactive sourcing strategies that support both short and long-term hiring needs. Building key talent pipelines through continuous sourcing and attending relevant industry conferences, professional group meetings, and other events to target top talent is essential. The specialist will execute both passive and active candidate sourcing and partner with hiring managers to define requirements for open positions. Additionally, they will assist with the job posting and advertising process, conduct and lead post-interview calibration sessions with hiring managers to ensure a thorough evaluation and comparison of candidates, and develop competitive offers in collaboration with people services partners and hiring managers. The role requires building strong partnerships with the Human Resources Business Partner and Department Leadership to work collaboratively in understanding business and operational strategies. Participation in workforce planning with Department Leadership and the People Services team is crucial to identify the skills, capabilities, and roles required to support the company’s goals and objectives. The specialist will also proactively participate in and provide subject matter expertise regarding Talent Acquisition trends and current/future market information, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop pro-active sourcing strategies that support short and long term hiring needs

  • Develop and close competitive offers in collaboration with people services partners and hiring managers
  • Build strong partnerships with Human Resources Business Partner and Department Leadership and work collaboratively to understand business and operational strategies
  • Participate in workforce planning with Department Leadership and People Services team to identify skill, capability, and roles required to support the company goals and objectives
  • Pro-actively participate in and provide subject matter expertise (SME) regarding Talent Acquisition trends and current/future market information
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. in related fields or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years in a strategic talent acquisition function and experience with full-cycle recruitment and/or recruitment coordination and support
  • Ability to foster relationships with a diverse workforce
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management and associates
  • Must be able to track and manage multiple projects and/or high volume recruitment workload
  • Strong PC skills
  • Bilingual skills a plus
