About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist for Substance Use Treatment at BriteLife Recovery is a hybrid-remote position that plays a crucial role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process for the organization. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the field of addiction treatment and who thrive in a collaborative, mission-centered environment. BriteLife Recovery is dedicated to creating a world-class behavioral health organization that prioritizes empathy, safety, and trust for clients and their families. The organization is expanding its reach, currently operating in Hanover, PA, and Hilton Head Island, SC, with plans to grow into New York State. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. The specialist will be responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining the best talent for the substance use treatment center. This includes creating job descriptions, utilizing various sourcing methods, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating the interview process. The specialist will also ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing updates throughout the hiring process. Additionally, the role involves data management and reporting, where the specialist will maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics. This position requires a strong understanding of recruitment processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in human resources or a related field, with experience in the healthcare or substance use treatment sector being highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Create and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the organization.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, professional networks) to identify potential candidates.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate qualifications and fit for the organization.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Provide a positive and engaging experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicate with candidates to provide updates, feedback, and information about the position and organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve hiring processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role, preferably within the healthcare or substance use treatment sector.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
