About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Vertex Aerospace LLC is responsible for full life cycle recruitment within the aerospace and defense sector. This role involves developing and executing recruitment strategies, partnering with business leaders, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and federal laws. The specialist will also focus on building relationships and driving the hiring process to meet business demands, while promoting diversity in talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Perform full life cycle recruiting of professional positions.
• Drive the offer process, including negotiating salaries and extending offers.
• Partner with organizational business leaders and HR partners to assess talent requirements and create staffing strategies.
• Source and attract diverse candidates using various techniques such as online networking and Boolean searches.
• Facilitate and drive the hiring process to meet business hiring demands.
• Demonstrate positive change agent behaviors and influence managers in a matrix environment.
• Attend and support local and national hiring and career events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 4+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, or an Associate's Degree with 8+ years of experience, or a High School Diploma with 12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition within aerospace and defense/aviation.
• Experience developing and implementing talent strategies to hire critical talent.
• Experience with proactive sourcing to build and manage diverse talent pipelines.
• Experience recruiting in a high volume environment.
