About the position

S&S Activewear is seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our human resources team, focusing on warehouse hiring. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a customer service-oriented environment and possess strong communication skills. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the hiring pipeline for all open warehouse positions, which includes contacting candidates via phone and email to schedule interviews, updating the applicant tracking system (ATS), maintaining spreadsheets and reports, and collaborating with hiring managers to coordinate interview schedules based on availability and quotas. In this position, you will contribute to the implementation of staffing and recruiting processes, strategies, and solutions. You will source, recruit, screen, and assess a high volume of candidates for both exempt and non-exempt roles. The role requires maintaining accurate candidate records in the ATS and proactively seeking new avenues to attract candidates. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing them with inspiring information about the company and the positions available. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, submitting weekly hiring data reports and assisting with other duties as assigned. This position is full-time, onsite, and operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation will be based on experience, and the role offers opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of staffing and recruiting processes, strategies, and solutions.
  • Source, recruit, screen, and assess a high volume of candidates for exempt and nonexempt roles.
  • Identify qualified candidates through various recruiting and sourcing tools.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and spreadsheet.
  • Proactively seek new avenues to attract candidates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Submit weekly hiring data reports.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing inspiring information about the company and position.
  • Prepare candidates for each step in the hiring process.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Hold an associate degree or have an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Possess full-cycle recruitment experience in relevant industry sectors.
  • Have experience supporting hiring needs up to the senior manager level.
  • Bring a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in agency or in-house talent acquisition.
  • Have a working knowledge of employment systems, preferably ADP Workforce.
  • Exhibit a strong ability to close deals in a competitive market.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Adapt effectively to a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Work collaboratively within a team and independently as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in keyboarding, spreadsheets, databases, data management, and information retrieval.
  • Possess strong project management skills and the ability to handle competing deadlines effectively.
