The specialist will also maintain ongoing talent pipelines for high-demand positions and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activities, making necessary adjustments to strategies. Additionally, the specialist will represent DLS at job fairs and other recruitment events, ensuring a strong presence in the community. In this position, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will coordinate communication regarding job vacancies, maintain job postings, and verify job descriptions. The role also involves managing the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating post-offer activities such as physicals and drug tests, and ensuring thorough background checks are conducted. The specialist will maintain accurate departmental files and data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), generating reports for management to aid in decision-making. This position requires a proactive approach to support DLS management in their recruitment and staffing needs, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
