About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is responsible for managing the human resource functions, including recruitment, employee orientation, onboarding, training, employee relations, and compliance with HR regulations. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the educational mission of EVIT by ensuring that the organization attracts and retains qualified personnel to deliver high-quality career and technical education programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of human resource functions including recruitment and onboarding.
• Conduct new employee orientation and training on policies and procedures.
• Oversee employee relations and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HR regulations.
• Support organizational development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or extensive prior experience in human resources.
• Three years of increasingly responsible experience in human resources positions or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, and employee relations is preferred.
