About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Hunt Electric Corporation is responsible for leading the recruitment process, from crafting job descriptions to onboarding new hires. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to develop effective hiring strategies, attending career fairs, and implementing improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and passionate about making a significant impact in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire recruitment process, including crafting job descriptions and screening candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates for a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team and HR for smooth onboarding.
  • Engage in career fairs and networking events to attract talent.
  • Propose and implement recruitment-focused policies to streamline hiring practices.
  • Utilize data and metrics to assess and optimize recruitment processes.
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to strategize effective hiring plans.
  • Manage files and inquiries to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, particularly in specialist roles.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel, with the ability to learn new HR technologies.
  • Understanding of employment-related laws and regulations, including AAP and EEO.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and HRIS systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in the union and non-union construction industry.
