About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be integral to the recruitment process, focusing on high volume recruitment for manufacturing and support roles. This role encompasses full cycle recruitment, requiring expertise in sourcing, interviewing, and a solid understanding of employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for high volume manufacturing positions, including production, warehouse, and administrative support roles.
  • Review resumes, coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers, assessing candidates' knowledge, cultural fit, and potential for success.
  • Lead the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify and attract talent, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and industry associations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with temporary agencies and search firms to achieve staffing goals.
  • Review and prepare job descriptions to conduct initial screenings and assessments of candidates.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant tracking and interview data in the HRIS.
  • Draft offer letters providing proposed compensation and starting dates.
  • Assist HR Coordinator with conducting post-offer screenings, including reference checks and background checks.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future recruitment needs.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Provide exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, focusing on high volume recruitment within an applicant tracking system.
  • Proven track record of success in sourcing talent.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exempt and non-exempt recruitment experience in a chemical or construction industry.
  • Experience with Oracle HRIS.
