About the position

We have an amazing opportunity to join our fantastic Menzies Aviation team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the operations in Grapevine, TX. This position will be on-site at our Grapevine, TX Office and will be responsible for driving high-volume sourcing, interviewing, and placement of candidates into aviation services positions at various locations across the US. You'll put our people, our customers - and their customers, at the heart of everything you do. In this role, you will be working for the world's largest aviation services provider (by number of countries) and with some of the most prestigious airlines in the industry. You will have the opportunity to support the shaping and development of the team around you, ensuring we have the best team of experts in their field. The role requires compliance with recruitment policies, processes, and procedures, and managing your performance against set targets. You will partner with station management and hiring managers to fill open positions, develop advertisements, and post vacancies. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and evaluating job posting responses and conversion rates, sourcing candidates, and developing local networks to ensure a constant flow of qualified candidates. This will involve using a variety of sources, including direct sourcing utilizing social media, internet postings, database searches, and community outreach initiatives. You will pre-screen candidates, set up interview schedules, conduct interviews, coordinate verification checks, send job offers, and track candidates in the applicant tracking system. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment statistics, performing recruiting tasks with urgency, and establishing trust and confidence with managers, HR, and candidates. You will need to be fully versed on International Aviation Safety and Security standards and promote them within the organization. The ideal candidate must possess 2 - 3 years of recruitment experience with the ability to handle a high volume of open positions effectively. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with a high level of energy, self-motivation, and goal orientation. Experience in ground handling, cargo, or any aviation-related field is strongly preferred, and you must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Negotiate and obtain a high rate of candidate offer acceptance while ensuring candidates meet specified requirements.
  • Schedule new hire orientation with candidates and key staff members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years of recruitment experience with the ability to handle a high volume of open positions effectively.
  • High level of energy, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a self-starter.
  • Experience in ground handling, cargo, or any aviation-related field strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances.
