About the position

BWT Logistics is seeking a self-motivated and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their HR team. This role is crucial for attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent to support the company's logistics operations. The ideal candidate will utilize creativity and diligence in the recruitment process, employing effective strategies to maintain a diverse and qualified candidate pool. This position offers a hybrid work environment and competitive compensation, directly influencing the company's growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process from start to finish.
• Collaborate with department managers to create accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Employ efficient recruiting methods based on industry standards and organizational needs.
• Manage job postings and advertising.
• Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
• Schedule and oversee interview preparations.
• Participate in interviews alongside managers and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate the offer process, determining salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
• Assist with employment verifications, MVRs, and background checks.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.
• Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for various roles.
• Proactive and autonomous with a strong initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in hiring and recruitment.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking software, other recruitment systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in logistics and transportation is a plus.
• Experience with ADP and Tenstreet is a plus.
