About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Environmental Consultants, LLC will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to extending job offers. This role is crucial in attracting, hiring, and retaining exceptional talent to support the company's growth and diversity initiatives. The specialist will partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source top-tier candidates through innovative channels, including social media, networking, and industry events.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to identify candidates who align with our values and goals.
  • Coordinate and manage interviews, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Negotiate offers and collaborate with HR to guide candidates through the onboarding process.
  • Develop pipelines for critical roles and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve strategies and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working in high-volume recruiting.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (preferably Jobvite).
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Applications (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior recruiting experience within Utilities/Forestry/Environmental Science industry is a plus.
  • Experience conducting presentations, including hiring leader training, a plus.
  • Experience using social media and internet techniques for recruitment purposes is a plus.
  • HR or Recruitment certifications a plus (PHR or SPHR or AIRS PRC certifications).
