About the position

Hill International is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Mid-Atlantic Region. This hybrid role involves sourcing, identifying, and recruiting staff for various positions while collaborating with hiring managers to define job competencies and requirements. The specialist will manage the recruiting process, conduct interviews, and build relationships with candidates and internal teams to ensure successful hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing, identifying, and recruiting new, replacement, and contingent staff from external sources.
  • Conducting pre-screening interviews and coordinating all interviews with hiring managers and the Sr. Talent Director.
  • Working with hiring managers to understand and define job competencies and recruiting requirements for open positions.
  • Coordinating internal postings and utilizing appropriate internet sources for external postings, including social and professional networking sites.
  • Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with Operation Managers, Corporate Team leaders, and the recruiting team.
  • Managing all aspects of the recruiting process using the online applicant tracking system, including sourcing, qualifying candidates, salary negotiation, and verbal offers.
  • Acting as a point of contact and building influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Attending conferences, hiring fairs, networking events, and office visits in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience in an agency environment.
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience closing candidates to offers in a competitive market.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work under the direction of the Sr. Talent Director and hiring managers.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability.
  • Knowledge of multiple job boards, social media, and other sourcing platforms, as well as ATS.
  • Proven track record of building rapport with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule.
