About the position

This position involves full life cycle recruiting, where you will research, screen, and assist in selecting qualified candidates for various hourly job openings, particularly for roles such as warehouse specialists, drivers, and clerical staff. You will utilize standardized phone screens and interview guides to ensure consistency and adherence to competency requirements for the positions being filled. Your responsibilities will include conducting intake meetings when new positions become available and executing recruiting strategies in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager. This will involve incorporating the manager's requests, Ace's culture, and HR recommendations into both internal and external recruiting processes. You will determine applicant requirements by sourcing and identifying similarities between resumes and job descriptions, acting as an administrator for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and ensuring candidates are properly dispositioned in systems like Workday and Indeed. In addition to managing job postings and the collection of resumes, you will coordinate all external and internal interviews for RSC hourly positions, maintain the RSC Daily Recruiting Tracker, and administer post-offer drug testing and background checks as required. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a safety champion, actively participating in creating a productive workplace through proper safety practices. You will also need a minimum of one year of high-volume staffing or recruitment experience, particularly in recruiting hourly warehouse specialists, professional truck drivers, and clerical staff. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential for this position. Responsibilities

  • Conduct full life cycle recruiting for hourly job openings, including warehouse specialists, drivers, and clerical staff.
  • Utilize standardized phone screens and interview guides to ensure consistency and competency adherence.
  • Conduct intake meetings when positions become available.
  • Execute recruiting strategy in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Determine applicant requirements by sourcing and identifying similarities between resumes and job descriptions.
  • Act as an administrator for the ATS, ensuring candidates are properly dispositioned in Workday and Indeed.
  • Manage the collection of resumes and applications, and enter all requisitions.
  • Utilize systems to gather and maintain notes regarding candidates and the interviewing process.
  • Send notifications as directed by the process.
  • Execute consistent job postings, including digital and social media postings.
  • Source, phone screen, and coordinate all external and internal interviews for RSC hourly positions.
  • Maintain the RSC Daily Recruiting Tracker.
  • Administer post-offer drug testing and initiate background checks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of high-volume staffing/recruitment experience.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting hourly warehouse specialists, professional truck drivers, and clerical staff.
  • Experience managing a high volume recruiting workload.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of interviewing skills and familiarity with different interviewing styles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Employment Law.
