About the position

Community First Solutions is seeking an entry-level Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for sourcing qualified candidates for open positions in healthcare and behavioral health. This role acts as a brand ambassador, defining the candidate experience and ensuring a positive recruitment process. The position emphasizes innovation, professional development, and collaboration within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates via resume databases and networking sites.
  • Manage the recruitment pipeline of both active and passive candidates.
  • Keep candidates engaged through timely communication to both the candidates and the hiring manager.
  • Build a pipeline for both active postings due to attrition and future postings anticipated for growth.
  • Develop varied methods of recruitment to provide a diverse candidate pool.
  • Utilize proprietary software for establishing candidate searches and executing mobile and email campaigning to talent communities.
  • Make verbal and written job offers and work closely with the hiring Director on negotiations and counter-offers.
  • Cultivate relationships with schools, technical programs, community organizations, and other recruiting sources.
  • Participate in job fairs and other hiring events to maintain a regular school presence.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to create and support recruiting and employment brand campaigns.
  • Identify difficulties with searches and collaborate with Sr. Management to resolve barriers to hiring.
  • Communicate the status of each search to management proactively and regularly.
  • Update candidate statuses in the appropriate recruitment systems.
  • Effectively communicate with candidates via phone, email, or video.
  • Support multiple open positions at one time.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a recruitment capacity preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
  • Proactive candidate sourcing skills, including cold calling.
  • Organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a sense of urgency.
  • Good judgment and ability to escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Highly personable and professional demeanor.
  • Computer literate with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, or payroll software preferred.

Nice-to-haves
