About the position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Spherion, you will play a crucial role in creating positive change by helping individuals find jobs and build careers where they can thrive. This position is situated in a family-oriented environment where teamwork is emphasized, and team members support one another. Your primary responsibility will be to provide companies with the workforce solutions they need, ensuring that both clients and candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and issues, which requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. You will be responsible for recruiting, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and placing candidates, which involves establishing focused recruiting plans and maintaining documentation of candidate communication within the recruiting database. You will also assess client company position requirements, write complete job orders, and appropriately match permanent and/or temporary employees to meet client needs and expectations. Additionally, you will execute relationship-driven client visits to ensure customer satisfaction and follow up on all existing business to ensure retention, quality control, and the development of new business. Establishing and maintaining relationships with a variety of recruiting sources will also be a key part of your responsibilities. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, making it essential to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the main point of contact for client inquiries and issues
  • Recruit, screen, schedule, interview, and place candidates
  • Comfortable working the field and checking in on active clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Establish focused recruiting plans
  • Maintain and document candidate communication within the recruiting database
  • Assess client company position requirements, write complete job orders and appropriately match permanent and/or temporary employees to meet client needs and expectations
  • Execute relationship driven client visits ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Follow-up on all existing business to ensure retention, quality control and development of new business
  • Establish and maintain relationships with a variety of recruiting sources

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary
  • Computer literacy - proficient on Microsoft Office Suite products and Google products
  • Must be energetic and enjoy talking with candidates and clients on the phone and in person
  • Must be ready to work hard and play hard in a fast-paced environment
  • MUST be able to prioritize and multitask
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous recruiting experience preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Some recruiting experience is helpful but not required
  • Sales and Customer Service experience
