About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead the salaried recruiting efforts for Copeland's North America region, focusing on building a strong talent network and enhancing the Copeland brand. This role involves managing the full cycle of recruiting, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, while collaborating with hiring teams and promoting diversity and inclusion in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle, end-to-end salaried recruiting efforts across the United States and Canada.
  • Effectively market and advertise job opportunities to attract top talent.
  • Build a talent network by sourcing and identifying passive candidates.
  • Screen and interview candidates, preparing and extending job offers.
  • Collaborate with TA team members, managers, and HR teams to understand organizational needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and HR teams.
  • Serve as a talent advisor, consulting with leaders on effective recruiting strategies.
  • Create and maintain relationships with professional organizations to enhance brand awareness.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts in the recruiting process.
  • Lead recruiting efforts for higher-level and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Coach and review the work of junior TA team members.
  • Provide an excellent candidate and hiring team experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in full cycle recruiting, particularly for salaried positions.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting strategies and market trends.
  • Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Experience in promoting diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the HVACR industry or related fields.
  • Familiarity with recruiting software and tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
