About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a key member of the HR team, responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role involves building relationships with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth recruitment process from start to finish, and contributing to the overall success of the organization by enhancing the candidate experience and promoting employer branding.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to create and execute innovative recruiting strategies that fill vacant positions.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including cold calling and online research, to identify potential candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating candidate selection.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment labor laws throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate records in the HRIS system.
  • Facilitate employee orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to enhance the candidate experience and promote employer branding.

Requirements

  • AA/BA in related field and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and employment regulations and policies, required.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in research techniques for identifying potential candidates across various platforms.
  • Knowledge of employment labor laws to ensure compliance during the recruitment process.
  • Experience in cold calling to proactively reach out to potential candidates.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as UltiPro or iCIMS for managing candidate data effectively.
  • Excellent relationship management skills to foster positive interactions with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Ability to conduct thorough employee orientations that align new hires with company culture and values.
