About the position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at BAUER Foundation Corp, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing recruitment strategies tailored to the construction industry. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with hiring managers to attract, assess, and secure top talent for technical and field roles, ensuring that staffing aligns with project timelines and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to the construction industry.
  • Partner with hiring managers to attract and assess top talent.
  • Source passive and active candidates to build a quality talent pipeline.
  • Assess applicant quality, skills, and fit for positions.
  • Collaborate with department managers to draft job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, recruitment agencies, and associations.
  • Implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies based on role and industry standards.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and prepare interview materials.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers during the offer process.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in construction or engineering industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for various roles.
  • Proactive and independent with strong initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with hiring laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient with applicant-tracking software, particularly Paylocity and LinkedIn Recruiting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
