About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Ookla will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, focusing on sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates across various departments. This role is crucial for enhancing the company's employer brand and ensuring a smooth hiring process while utilizing data-driven strategies to improve recruitment metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates.
  • Utilize job boards, social media platforms, networking, and employee referrals to proactively source and attract top talent.
  • Conduct phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
  • Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to define job requirements and recruitment strategies.
  • Enhance the company's employer brand by providing an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve hiring processes and identify trends in the talent market.
  • Extend offers and negotiate employment terms, ensuring a competitive yet cost-effective hiring strategy.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Passion for identifying top talent.
  • Familiarity with talent acquisition best practices for both technical and non-technical roles.
  • Experience working with global teams and understanding of international hiring processes.
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations related to recruiting in the US.
