About the position

The Human Resources Recruiter at NeighborHealth is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing employment practices to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role focuses on both recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring that the health center attracts and retains qualified personnel to support its mission of providing quality healthcare to the community.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains an active recruitment program using all available resources.
• Plans and carries out recruitment activities for approved vacant positions.
• Tracks and reports progress of open positions to the HR Manager on a weekly basis.
• Utilizes various recruitment methods including paid advertising, direct-mail marketing, job fairs, and referrals.
• Interviews external applicants and verifies factual information such as employment history and education.
• Obtains information on applicants' career goals and work history.
• Interviews internal employees for transfer or promotion eligibility and coordinates the process with the hiring manager.
• Greets office visitors and provides information regarding benefits, policies, and employment opportunities.
• Discusses benefits with applicants and ensures compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

• High school education required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two to four years of experience in recruitment.
• Previous employee relations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of human resources laws and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
