About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Roaring Fork Restaurant Group is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, which includes sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions within the company. This role also involves some general HR duties and serves as a backup for other HR personnel as needed. The position is primarily focused on attracting top talent to support the company's growth and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively recruit top talent including sourcing and interviewing.
  • Complete initial screens of leadership candidates.
  • Determine and implement recruiting best practices.
  • Partner with managers to determine requirements for the position and qualities of an ideal candidate.
  • Work with managers to create job descriptions and post job descriptions.
  • Oversee and actively manage ATS systems.
  • Conduct reference checks and schedule interviews for internal and external applicants.
  • Manage social media recruiting and build a pipeline for qualified candidates.
  • Run background checks and draft offer letters.
  • Manage the requisition log and applicant/interview/hire reports.
  • Update hiring managers and HR departments weekly on the status of all jobs, interviews, and offers.
  • Manage staffing level reports and offer management team new ideas to increase percentages.
  • Partner with other HR staff and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience recruiting through the full life cycle.
  • Experience in applicant tracking software and onboarding systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and detailed planning and project management skills.
  • Articulate, cogent verbal communications skills and strong written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and excellent time management skills.
  • Able to cultivate, develop, and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong comfort level with a fast-paced, high-growth, high-volume/turnover employee population.
