About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruiting clinical and non-clinical professional positions within the organization. This role involves implementing and coordinating sourcing strategies, recruitment and retention activities, and advertising efforts to meet the talent acquisition needs of the business units. The specialist will build relationships with hiring managers and collaborate across departments to ensure effective recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Recruits for clinical and non-clinical professional positions as assigned.
  • Sources qualified candidates through extensive searching, networking, and screening techniques.
  • Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house applicant tracking system to identify and recruit qualified candidates.
  • Pre-screens, interviews, and manages the full cycle recruiting process while maintaining a resume database.
  • Conducts follow-up calls with hiring managers and new hires to address hiring quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develops and manages relationships with business partners and hiring managers to provide service excellence.
  • Plans, coordinates, and participates in system-wide recruiting events and initiatives.
  • Acts as a key liaison to vendors and potential candidates for assigned recruitment areas.
  • Coordinates with advertising agency to manage advertising and position posting needs.
  • Develops workforce strategies through internal and external research and data analysis.
  • Monitors vacancy and turnover rates and collaborates with hiring managers to address retention issues.
  • Incorporates metrics to define success/failure and shares insights with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
