About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) plays a crucial role in supporting the complete life cycle of recruiting efforts for the New York office's consulting staff. This position involves event planning, candidate pipeline development, and managing the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience while aligning with the broader Northeast recruiting strategy. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to execute recruiting initiatives and promote diversity and inclusion throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Support the complete life cycle of recruiting efforts for the New York office's consulting staff.
  • Plan and execute recruiting events and manage candidate pipeline development.
  • Participate in the interview process and maintain candidate communication and relationships.
  • Manage logistics of the recruiting process, including marketing and events planning, screening, and interviewing.
  • Assist with conversion activities for candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage the New York Associate and Consultant summer internship programs, including orientation and training.
  • Partner with office leadership to ensure smooth execution of recruiting strategy and alignment on initiatives.
  • Incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage recruiting records and metrics, ensuring they are up to date and accurate.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-4 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required.
  • Experience working within a complex matrix structured organization.
  • Strong customer service and relationship orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and trustworthy with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Analytical proficiency and facility with numbers.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves
