The Talent Acquisition Specialist will actively source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best fit for various positions within the company. This includes managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings to offer negotiations, ensuring that the organization attracts top talent across all levels and departments. In addition to direct recruitment activities, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will build and maintain partnerships with educational institutions to create a robust talent pipeline. This includes representing BEDGEAR at career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities. The role also requires close collaboration with department managers to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on effective recruitment strategies. The Specialist will stay updated on industry trends, legal updates, and best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. The onboarding process for new hires is another critical aspect of this role. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the onboarding experience, coordinating with various departments to schedule activities such as orientation and training. This ensures that new employees have a smooth transition into the company and are equipped with the necessary resources and information to succeed in their roles. Overall, this position is essential for fostering a positive and efficient recruitment experience that aligns with BEDGEAR's core values and commitment to growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best fit for the organization's needs.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on recruitment strategies.
  • Create and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all levels and departments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to develop a talent pipeline.
  • Represent BEDGEAR at career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Coordinate with various departments to schedule onboarding activities, including orientation, training, and presentations.
  • Conduct onboarding presentations for Human Capital & Culture and ensure new hires have all the necessary resources and information.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify.
  • English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension).
  • Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in talent acquisition or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Employment agency experience preferred.
  • Membership in SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of an additional language(s) is a plus!
