About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Canada Dry is responsible for sourcing, identifying, screening, and hiring candidates for various roles within the organization. This role is crucial in strengthening the organization by adding the best talent to the team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and the ability to create effective sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to open job requisitions.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
• Organize and attend job fairs/recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
• Act as a liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.
• Screen and interview applicants.
• Coordinate pre-employment verification/background checks/drug testing.
• Extend verbal and written contingent job offers.
• Conduct orientation for new employees.
• Maintain records for applicant tracking and upload necessary checks/verification in appropriate files.
• Complete weekly reports on employment activity.
• Conduct exit interviews with terminating employees.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a similar field.
• Two years of relevant experience in a talent acquisition role.
• Experience in full cycle recruiting and utilizing sourcing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Experience with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
