As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full cycle recruitment process, supporting our sales, warehouse, and transportation functions within our operations team. You will counsel hiring managers on candidates, from reviewing applications to making offers, analyzing information for their openings, and recommending solutions to applicant flow issues. You will also be part of our marketing team, determining the best sourcing options for your markets and working with the Talent Marketing Specialists to develop a marketing strategy. At Gordon Food Service, we're always trying to improve our processes, so you'll be working on an action team to focus on training and development, compliance, diversity, and communications. There may be other special projects to participate in as well. The Talent Acquisition Specialist recruits top-quality candidates for hiring managers throughout the organization. You will manage the recruitment process to include screening, interviewing, skills assessment, and candidate evaluation. Building strong relationships with hiring managers is crucial to ensure the ability to influence, guide, and drive the recruitment process. You will coordinate the talent acquisition process with hiring managers throughout the organization, post requisitions, screen candidates, set up interviews, debrief with interview teams, advise on offer parameters, and create offers for candidates. Additionally, you will maintain the applicant tracking system in accordance with department procedures and government compliance requirements. You will also manage workload using process metrics and KPIs including Time to Fill, Quality of Hire, Manager Feedback, Candidate Feedback, and others as identified to drive process and report progress. This role requires confirming specific needs/requirements and setting expectations for the difficulty of the search, analyzing reports, and using relevant information to inform and influence leaders. You will educate internal customers on the recruiting and selection process through ongoing counsel and periodic training sessions to enhance staff management skills. In terms of sourcing, you will post positions, work with a Talent Sourcer on hard-to-fill positions, and provide input to social media campaigns or posts as needed. You will create interview guides and evaluation tools for the hiring team, evaluate resumes and applicants, and screen candidates utilizing defined recruitment methods to determine which candidates to move forward in the hiring process. You will also conduct applicant screening interviews to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, salary requirements, and to provide information about Gordon Food Service (GFS) and positions. This role may also involve participating on project teams as assigned and performing other duties as assigned. Our leading candidate will have two to five years of previous staffing experience with recruiting, interviewing, and selecting, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related degree preferred. Requirements
